MY SKATE - GRIFFITH’S XTREEM SKATE PARTY AND STREET STYLE MUSIC FESTIVAL IS HERE!

MY SKATE is set to shred up the track with Griffith’s coolest street party and skating event bringing the new skate park to life on Saturday 15 September.

Fearless street style outfit Branch Nebula will kick off the event by taking over the skate bowl unleashing Snake Sessions - an anarchic, breathtaking performance featuring professional skaters, BMX riders, dancers and parkour artists. BUT there are also plenty of opportunities for young locals to cut in on the action. Local skaters of all ages are invited to get involved. They can join Branch Nebula in the skate park from 3pm - 6pm TODAY and TOMMOROW, jamming moves and tricks with the professionals, and building up for a spectacular improvised performance on Saturday.

And there is more...Melbourne hip-hop sensation Joelistics will headline a knock out street party, joined by talented local musicians Ivy and Elle's, Ben Ceccato, Ev3 and The Lolohea Brothers. The rapper, songwriter and producer will also be running a hip hop workshop at PCYC for any young people wanting to hone their skills with a mic and get some hot tips for their song writing.
