Artexpress coming to Griffith in February 2018.
The Griffith Regional Art Gallery will be exhibiting Artexpress in February 2018. This is an exhibition of exemplary artworks created by students of the Higher School Certificate in 2017.
Artexpress is jointly managed by the NSW Department of Education and the Board of Studies NSW. It is coordinated by The Arts Unit, Department of Education and Communities. The best artworks by students from across NSW are selected.
A selection of works will be on display at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery, the official opening will be held on Friday 2nd February from 6pm. The exhibition will be showing until Sunday 4th March.
Other exhibitions in the Griffith Regional Art Gallery's 2018 program include:
- The Art of Dinosaur Designs - works by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy
- Expose - Life drawings by local Griffith artists
- For Nation, For Country - from the Australian War Memorial
- National Contemporary Jewellery Award and National Emerging Art Glass Award.
