A Win for Marrambidya Dance Group.
Less than one year after its formation Western Riverina's Marrambidya Dance Group has been named a winner in the NSW Youth Work Awards 2023 in the category of 'Outstanding Work with First Nations Young People.'
Dance Group President Jacinta Simpson says "We were very honoured to be even considered for this award, and we were up against so many outstanding nominees. We don't run the group or do the work for recognition, but this prize has given us an even bigger sense of pride in the importance of our work.  This award gives us the fuel we need to keep going!"
