CASP Recipients Announcement

Western Riverina Arts is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 Country Arts Support Program (CASP) for the Western Riverina. A total of $17,992 has been awarded.

Administered by Western Riverina Arts, CASP is a Create NSW initiative that supports a creative, vibrant and resilient NSW arts and cultural sector that engages with diverse audiences and communities.

CASP is supporting six projects from our region that will be delivered over the next 12 months:

• Red Earth Ecology - Developing Our Riverina Artists (Griffith) $3,000
• Griffith Child Care Centre Inc. - Mending Fences (Griffith) $3,000
• Red Earth Ecology - Leeton Memories (Leeton) $2,992
• Murrumbidgee Council - Renew & Reconnect (Murrumbidgee) $3,000
• Griffith Regional Association of the Performing Arts - The Crucible (Griffith) $3,000
• Griffith Regional Association of the Performing Arts - Griffith Screen Acting and Production Workshops (Griffith) $3,000

Says Aanya Whitehead Executive Director of Western Riverina Arts: “This is a significant investment into our community arts across the Western Riverina. All the projects have large outcomes that bring people together and focus on wellbeing and upskilling. There is something for everyone when they start to happen over the next year. Our arts community can also look forward to the second round of the Western Riverina Arts Micro Grants that will open towards the end of this year.”
