Amateur Actor & Crew Call Out

Calling all theatre enthusiasts - there are six acting roles and six crew roles available in the murder mystery melodrama ‘Bloodshed at the Banquet’. The play will be performed on 9th July 2022 at the Australian Art Deco Festival, Leeton.

Bloodshed at the Banquet is a locally written play by Leonie Napier, produced by Creative Connection Riverina who are working with the Leeton Shire Council Manager of Cultural Services in a joint venture to create a new experience for the Australian Art Deco Festival in Leeton. The play is a melodrama, it’s dramatic and filled with exaggerated characters! The setting is a dinner reception for the touring party. The melodrama aims to be immersive and engaging with the audience.  Scenes will be played out with regard to meal service. Melodramas allow for great creative opportunity! It is full of secrets and unknown relationships, with a mix of misdirection.
