Chapter 1- Into the forest

Jackie led the way into the forest.

“Do you think this is a good idea? It's already night!” her brother Dylan asked.

“Of course, it is. Stop acting like such a coward!” Jackie said fiercely.

“Alright, Alright. I’ll come,” Dylan muttered.

As the pair entered the forest *Zap* a stroke of lightning had hit the ground.

“We should really turn back now Jackie!” Dylan said urgently.

“Oh, come on! This is the perfect weather!” she said, annoyed at her brother.

They walked farther and farther into the forest when…*Crack* *Thud* *Thump*.

Strokes of lightning filled the forest. Dylan shuddered while his sister's eyes filled with glee and mischief.

Dylan had always been the timid and subtle one while Jackie had always been the rough and adventurous one.

Dylan was just about to say something when he saw a man wearing all black

including a mask. Dylan got the heebie-jeebies because of this unusual man.

Dylan looked straight into the man’s eyes and jumped. His eyes, the man’s eyes, they were grey and lifeless.

“We need to turn back now Jackie. Look at that man, he looks dangerous!!” Dylan said, grabbing Jackie’s arm.

Jackie froze, then turned to face her brother.

“Why are you always so afraid of everything!? It’s just a man! You’re such a scaredy cat!” Jackie yelled, then struggled free from her brother's grasp and ran.

After running for a while Jackie turned back expecting to find her brother but instead found no one. Jackie felt a shiver run down her spine.

He must be trying to catch up to me!” Jackie said to herself, trying to calm herself down.

After waiting for Dylan, Jackie started to worry.

“Dylan!? Dylan!? Jackie called out.

After not getting a reply Jackie ran back to where she had last seen her brother.

He wasn’t there.

It was as if he was never there.

Jackie ran from place to place trying to find Dylan.

After running for about 10 minutes Jackie started gasping for air.

The running had tired her out.

Jackie started getting dizzy, the world was now spinning and then all went black.

Chapter 2- The unanswered questions

When Jackie finally woke up, her brain was fuzzy, and she was very dizzy. When her brain started making sense of things, she could make out her mother and a man she didn’t know, looking at her, worried looks on their faces..

Soon the man and her mother started saying something, but she couldn’t make out. Jackie tried to speak but her mouth was dry and frozen.

But then it hit her.

Where was Dylan, her brother, where was he?” Jackie thought, worriedly.

Jackie jumped up, startling her mother and the man.

“Where’s Dylan!? Where is he?!” Jackie croaked, her voice hoarse.

Her mother stood up and placed her hands on Jackie’s shoulders, trying to calm Jackie down.

Jackie shook off her mother’s hands and asked again “Where is Dylan?!”

A flicker of emotion passed her mother’s eyes.

“We found you lying unconscious in the forest. We found you but… not your brother…” The man said.

Jackie fell back into her bed, needing time to process all this.

Jackie sat up, ready to fire questions at her mother and the man.

As she was about to ask a question her man stopped her,

“You need to rest, you’ve had a rough day,” said the man.

And with that the man got up from his chair and exited the room. Her mother followed.

Jackie could hear the man and her mother whispering something outside the room.

Jackie tried her best to listen but all she make out were the words “Police, Dylan and death”

The last word scared her.

Jackie tried to get more information, but her sleepiness got the better of her.

Chapter 3- What happened to Dylan!?

When Jackie woke up the next morning, she suddenly remembered what happened on the past day.

She sat up quickly, got dressed and made her way down to breakfast where her mother greeted her with a hug.

She sat herself down on the hard wooden chairs and tried to remember what happened in the forest but nothing. She could remember nothing. All she could remember was collapsing onto the ground then passing out.

Her mother sat down next to her and stroked her hair with her gentle hands.

Suddenly Jackie remembered something else from the horrific time at the forest. The man Dylan warned her about. Said he looked dangerous. Jackie got a feeling of uneasiness in her stomach.

Her mother noticed and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Jackie looked at her mother and said “When Dylan and I went into the forest Dylan saw a man. He said that the man looked dangerous,” Jackie said slowly.

Her mothers’ eyes were filled with horror and fright.

“I’m getting Harold!” Her mother said.

Chapter 4- The suspect

Jackie sat down on the couch in the living room while Harold (the man) and her mother sat on the opposite couch.

“Tell me all you remember about what happened at the forest,” Harold said.

“Well…” Jackie didn’t know where to start.

“What was the man wearing?” Harold asked.

“He was wearing all black including a mask that covered all of his face, but you could see his eyes. Dylan said that his eyes were dull, grey and lifeless,” Jackie said slowly, making sure she got all the details.

Harold nodded, taking it all in, but Jackie could see the terror in his eyes.

“Anything else?” Harold asked.

“I remember having an argument with Dylan and then running off. Dylan didn’t follow so I went back to where I saw him last, and he wasn’t there… It was like he had vanished into thin air…” Jackie said, feeling a lump in her throat.

Harold’s eyebrows creased with worry while her mother shook with fright.

“What do you think happened to Dylan?! Do you think he’s okay?!” Jackie asked.

“It is none of your concern. Leave that to me,” Harold said.

Jackie swore that there was a cruel edge in his voice.

Jackie got up and barged out of the house. She ran to the broken, tattered cottage in the lonely outskirts of town. Since Jackie's town was small it didn't take long to reach there.

Chapter 5- The man who knew everything

As Jackie was about to enter the cottage, she heard a rustle in a bush nearby. Jackie froze. Jackie was certain that nobody followed her to the cottage. She looked around and swore that she saw a tiny movement coming from the bush. She crept towards it and looked behind it. And there it was. A man.

The man, startled at being found, jumped up.

“Who are you?” Jackie asked curiously.

The man, clearly startled by this question muttered “That is none of your concern,”

Jackie's eyes narrowed.

“People normally say what their names are unless they have something to hide!” Jackie said slyly.

The man gulped. “Well...Umm-my uhh My name is George,” George finally said.

“Soo, I heard that you were looking for your brother. A boy called Dylan. Right? I heard that he was taken while exploring a forest!” George rambled.

Jackie froze, then stared George in the eye.

“How do you know all that!? I have not told anyone that, let alone telling anyone his name!” Jackie questioned accusingly.

The man jumped  and started sprinting away from Jackie. Jackie was not letting him get away. Jackie started sprinting after him, dodging trees and bushes.

Jackie ran faster than she had ever run, her lungs bursting. Finally catching up to George, she took a good look at his face. Jackie stopped, letting George get away. His eyes were dull, grey and lifeless. Just like Dylan had described. Could he have been the man in the forest? Jackie shook off this feeling and made her way back home.

Chapter 6- Is Harold good or evil?

When Jackie entered her house the first thing she saw was Harold snoring on the couch. Seeing him made Jackie wonder if Harold was good or evil.

But this was not the biggest worry on her mind. She could not forget her strange conversation back at the cottage.

Jackie was certain that George had something to do with Dylan’s disappearance. But she didn't know for sure. She went to her bedroom, slumped onto her bed and thought. ‘Think, think, think.’

She needed to think. Jackie was startled by a loud ‘Thump’ coming from downstairs. She jumped off her bed and ran downstairs.

Chapter 7- The uninvited guest

Jackie was surprised by the uninvited guest. He/she was wearing head to toe in black so that you could not see their face.

Harold, obviously annoyed at the uninvited guest, had stood up and was facing the man.

When the intruder saw Jackie, he/she growled “Give me the girl!”

Why?!” Harold asked, startled.

“She knows too much…” They said,

It took a little while to understand what the intruder was talking about but then it hit her. George!

Jackie looked ‘George’ in the eye, and they locked eyes. Soon enough Jackie could see that ‘George’ had discovered  that Jackie knew who he was.

Without a word, he ran out of the house without looking back.

Jackie was getting ready to run after him when Harold grabbed her shoulder.

“Stay, we need to talk!” He said.

Jackie reluctantly agreed.

Chapter 8- The ‘Talk’

Jackie and Harold sat on the couch, facing each other.

“Why on earth would the man want you? Unless you did something to him!” Harold asked with a meaningful glare.

“I may or may not have met him before….” Jackie said sheepishly.

“What!?” Harold spluttered.

Jackie gulped.

“You better start from the start. The start of the whole thing!” Harold said.

“Well, I have this place that I go to and when I went there I found him and he started talking. He started saying things about Dylan when I didn’t tell him anything!” Jackie said.

Harold's eyes narrowed.

“And where is this place?” Harold asked.

“Uhh--,” Jackie didn’t want to tell Harold where she saw the man. After all, it was her secret place!

“I’m not telling…” Jackie said hesitantly.

Harold let out an annoyed breath.

“Then tell me what happened in the ‘Talk’ you had with the man!” Harold ordered.

“Well, I went to my place and then I met him. He said that his name was George. And then after he said all those things about Dylan he started running away…!” Jackie said, the words tumbling out of her mouth.

“And what happened next?” Harold urged on

“I chased after him and when I caught up to him I looked directly into his eyes-- Jackie broke off.

“What about his eyes?!” Harold asked.

“When I looked into his eyes I realised that his eyes were grey and, well, lifeless. And that was what Dylan saw in the eyes of the man in the forest!” Jackie finished.

Harold did a mixing of breathing. He sounded like a suffocating sheep!

“Alright….” Harold finally said.

“You do not need to worry about anything. Now go up to your room please,” Harold said in a voice that you would not want to argue with.

Jackie trudged up to her room and when she opened the door there was a surprise waiting for her. And it was not a good surprise.

Chapter 9- The messages

There, on her bed was a piece of paper and on the paper, with bloody red writing was a message saying ‘If you want to see your brother again then meet me at the cottage. Tomorrow!’

Jackie fought the urge to scream.

She picked up the paper with trembling hands and read the message over and over again.

Jackie jumped when a hand landed on her shoulder.

She turned around and was relieved when she realised that it was her mum's hand.

“Hey Mum!” Jackie said, trying to sound casual.

Her mom's eyes narrowed like she always did when she suspected that Jackie was hiding something.

“Are you hiding something from me?” Her mum asked.

“Oh- Me?! No! Not me!” Jackie said, chuckling.

“Alright, If you say so,” Her mum said as she exited her room.

Jackie breathed out a sign of relief.

As night fell, Jackie fell onto her bed with a worried heart.

As she knew that tomorrow would either turn out good or bad.

Chapter 10- The big day

When Jackie woke up her heart was beating and she was very, very nervous.

She could barely eat breakfast!

Jackie ran to the cottage and expected for George to be there but all she found was a note just like the one she found yesterday.

She picked it up and read the message: ‘If you get this note, you will know that if you don't give me what I want, then you will never see your precious brother again!’

Jackie dropped the note. It fluttered to the ground slowly.

“What could possibly be wanting from ME?!” Jackie asked herself.

As Jackie was about to go back home, she heard a rustle. She turned towards the sound. It was coming from inside the cottage!

Jackie had only gone into the cottage once and she hated it.

But she had no choice.

“Maybe George is in there!” Jackie thought suddenly.

Jackie took a deep breath and walked towards the cottage and walked inside it.

She grimaced at the sight. Cobwebs covered the tattered walls; the chairs were dusty and the lights no longer worked.

She gulped.

*Creak*

Jackie jumped.

She slowly turned to face the sound. And there he stood, George.

Questions flooded into her mind, but Jackie could not speak.

She gathered all her courage and asked, “What have you done to my brother?!”

“Me?! Little old me!? Oh! I haven't done anything to your precious little brother!” He said, trying to look innocent.

Jackie felt a sudden surge of anger pass her.

“I know that you took my brother! If you don’t tell me where he is I will call the police!” Jackie threatened.

George was startled by Jackie's outburst and a flicker of fear passed him but he quickly shook it off and regained his composure.

“Well, If you read my note then you will know what you have to do,” George said slyly.

Jackie clenched her fists. She didn't want to do anything for this cruel man but...she was doing this for her brother.

“Fine!” She said with clenched teeth.

“Well...I want your life!” He said menacingly.

Ja ckie felt herself go cold all over.

When Jackie was about to ask a question, she realised that George had vanished.

He had simply vanished.

Chapter 11- What does he mean by wanting my life?

As Jackie trudged back home, she couldn’t help but what George meant by wanting her life.

“He was joking, right?”  Jackie thought.

When Jackie finally arrived home the first thing she saw was Harold, standing in front of the door with his arms crossed.

“Where have you been?!” Harold asked with a frown.

“Umm…Nowhere…” She said quietly, looking down at her feet.

Harold raised his eyebrows in surprise.

Jackie pushed past him and quickly ran up to her room where she was greeted by an unpleasant surprise.

It was a note. Another note.

It said: I don't want your life! I was just watching you squirm! What I really want is the magic you control!!

“At least he doesn’t want my life!” Jackie thought with relief.

But...What does he mean by wanting magic? Especially from me!?

Jackie slowly sat down on her bed, knowing that she was about to cry.

“Where are you, Dylan?! She thought. “Life was so much better when you were here Dylan!? Please come back!? She sobbed.

“Jackie?”

Jackie dried her tears and looked back to see her mum staring at her with worried eyes.

“Are you alright Jackie?” Her mum asked.

Jackie wiped her tears, stood up and said “Yes…”

It was clear that her mother didn't believe her for she wrapped Jackie in a bear hug.

Jackie started sobbing, unable to control her emotions any longer.

Chapter 12- The hidden room

Jackie couldn’t help but wonder why George wanted magic. Magic wasn't even real!

“George is probably messing with me!” Jackie thought.

Just as she was about to go downstairs for a snack, she accidentally tripped over the big red rug her mother had put in the hallway not long ago.

“Ow!” Jackie said, rubbing her forehead. And that was when she realised that there was something underneath the rug. She lifted the rug up and there she saw it. There was a door. A squared door on the floor. She tried to lift the door up when she realised there was a small latch on the side of the door.

The latch was rusty which meant nobody had used this for a very long time.

She tried to turn the latch, but it didn't budge. She tried again and got the same result. Jackie took a deep breath and heaved again and to her luck, it opened!

Jackie was filled with a mix of fright and curiosity.

Jackie looked around to make sure that nobody was around and then she gracefully jumped into the door!

She was greeted with darkness.

“There must be a light in here somewhere!” She thought desperately.

She walked slowly, making sure not to bump into anything. She made sure that she was holding on to the wall so that she had something to hold her up.

Jackie danced with glee when her hand touched a light switch. She flicked it and the light flickered on.

Jackie stared around the attic and looked at every corner. There were dusty cardboard boxes, old, tattered cupboards and, she realised, that there were no windows.

Jackie started walking around, inspecting everything. She gasped when she saw a picture of her brother and George, lying on the floor. She picked it up with trembling hands and wiped the dust off the picture.

“What is Dylan doing with George!?” Jackie thought, confused.

As she looked at the picture carefully when she realised that the background had a huge building. It looked like nothing she had ever seen!

The building was a pale purplish colour with (as it looked like) over a hundred windows.

And George looked younger! Like a whole heap younger!

Jackie held the photo carefully and went to see if there were any more photos or something that would help her find out who George actually was.

Jackie walked to the far corner of the room and found a box that was much smaller than the others.

She wiped off the dust (coughing because of it) and opened it carefully.

Inside there were more photos but there was one thing that caught Jackie's eye.

There was a folder named Highly Confidential,

“What on earth!?” Jackie thought.

She opened the folder and hundreds and hundreds of papers tumbled out.

She spotted one paper which she picked up and read. I'm afraid that Dylan has gone from us… There is nothing we can do...

Jackie dropped the paper.

It wasn’t possible. It couldn't be true!

Jackie was on the verge of tears.

“Dylan is not dead!” Jackie thought.

It's all a lie!

Before she knew it, Jackie was pouring her heart out. She got up and ran out of the ‘room’ forgetting that she left the photo back in the ‘room’.

She ran to her room, jumped on her bed and cried. Her face streaked with tears and her brain muddled.

After Jackie pulled herself together, she decided that there would be no point in feeling sorry for herself.

‘I’m going back into that room first thing tomorrow!’ She decided.

She looked out her window and realised that it was nearly sunset. She made her way downstairs for dinner.

Her mum and Harold were already there. She seated herself on one of the chairs when her mother said “I heard noises coming from upstairs...But I don’t mean Jackie’s room…”

After hearing this Jackie tried to think of something to say about this.

She gulped down her dinner, excused herself and ran upstairs.

She was so tired and confused that she thought she fell asleep before her head hit her pillow.

Chapter 13- Magic

Jackie woke up, trying to remember what had happened the day before.

Then it hit her. The hidden room! Jackie jumped out of bed, brushed her teeth and ran to the rug.

She looked around to make sure that nobody saw her and skillfully jumped in.

Little did she know that danger was lurking just outside her window.

“Let me go…” said a boy who was tied up.

A man laughed. “Why would I do that?!” he asked menacingly.

The boy gulped, not knowing how long he would stay like this. Tied up in a chair, not knowing where he was. And how he could escape from this dangerous man.

Jackie looked around, still mesmerised by this room. Of course, the room gave her the occasional creeps but that didn’t stop her from liking this room.

Jackie started looking around when she heard a tinkling sound. She froze,

Not knowing where the noise had come from.  And that was when she saw it. A box. A box that looked like any other box, was moving, as well as a pale pink light leaking out through the corners of the box.

She walked towards the box and opened it where she was greeted by a surprise. A small fairy, wearing a pale green dress, had risen from the box and was now speaking.

Jackie had to pinch herself to make sure that she wasn’t dreaming.

“I see you have found me. I am the magic ball that will give you your powers.  Dylan has already got his. By the way, where is he?” The fairy asked.

Jackie looked at the floor, not knowing what to say.

“I-I think... He was kidnapped...I don't know for sure…” Jackie said, hoping that it wasn’t true.

The fairy’s eyebrows creased with worry.

Jackie couldn’t help but ask “Are you okay?”

“Yes. Yes, I’m alright….”  She replied.

Jackie raised her eyebrow, obviously not believing her.

“Now spill the beans little boy!” the man ordered.

He stayed quiet.

“Fine! Just tell me your name!” The older man said.

“Dylan…” The boy said.

The man’s face turned into a sneer.

“Oh HO! That’s some very valuable information!” He said.

Dylan had the urge to use his magic to flip him upside down. But he didn’t.

“It is time for you to finally get your magic!” The fairy said excitedly.

“Magic?” Jackie asked.

The fairy froze. “Has no one told you about this!?” She asked.

The fairy took her silence as a yes.

The fairy started mumbling something about stupidness.

Jackie wondered why the fairy seemed so frustrated.

The fairy reached into the box and pulled out a small keychain.

“Hold this,” She commanded.

Jackie took the keychain from her and was overcome with a feeling she had never felt before.

Power.

Soon, the room around her was black and Jackie was standing in the middle of it.

There was a strong wind over the room, Jackie’s hair was flying in the wind and she was glowing a pale pink colour.

And just like it happened it stopped.

“You now have the ability to use your magic. It will take time to control but use it wisely and remember, never tell anyone about your magic! There are some people who are greedy for it…” The fairy warned and disappeared.

Jackie just stood there, not knowing what had just happened.

Snapping back to reality, Jackie held the keychain in her hand and ran to her room.

Just then she realised that George had said that he wanted her magic. He had known about this all along...

Chapter 14- How much does George know?

Jackie told her mum that she would be going to the shops, but was she?

No! She was going to the cottage.

Jackie walked slowly to the cottage. When she arrived, she couldn’t shake off the feeling that someone was following her.

She turned around, just in time to see a shadow jump behind a tree.

Jackie smirked.

“If they’re going to stalk someone, they should at least do it properly!” She thought, rolling her eyes.

She crept towards the tree and jumped, much to the surprise of the stalker.

The stalker yelped in surprise. Jackie narrowed her eyes.

“Who are you?” She hissed.

The man gulped. She could see the beads of perspiration forming on his forehead.

Jackie’s hands flew to her mouth when she realised who the stalker was.

“H-Harold!?” She asked.

“Who is this Harold…” He asked, chuckling nervously.

“Stop faking Harold! I know that's you!” Jackie retorted. “Are-are you working for George?”

Harold signed. He kneeled down, put a hand on Jackie’s shoulder and spoke

“Jackie… There are some things that people do to save the ones they love….

I am doing this against my own will.  I am doing this to save the ones I love…”

He said this and fled with a second thought.

Jackie sat down on the rocky road and stared into the distance.

Chapter 15- Regret

Jackie's stomach filled with regret.

If she didn’t go into that forest none of this would have happened.

It was all her fault.

“Why didn’t they take me instead of Dylan? I was the one at fault,” Jackie sobbed.

Jackie wiped her tears and got up.

“I will get Dylan back from George or whatever his name is!” Jackie thought to herself, filled with confidence.

Jackie ran back home and burst through the door. She ran upstairs and jumped into the hidden room.

She collected all the clues she found and took them up to her room.

She spread them out on her bed and looked at each of them carefully.

She finally looked at the picture with George and Dylan and realised that in small writing it said Magic Domain.

She frowned, there wasn’t a place called that.

Jackie was just about to give up all hope when a thought suddenly came to her.

“I can get George to show me where it is! I just need to figure out how,” She thought.

Chapter 16- A Plan

She jumped out of bed and ran down to the hidden room.

She walked over to the box where she had met the fairy and knocked on it.

Soon enough the fairy appeared.

“May I help you?” She asked, her voice sounding like a lullaby.

“Yes…But may I ask...What is your name?” Jackie asked.

“Yes! Of course! How could I forget to introduce myself! My name is Alexa,” She introduced.

Jackie grinned. She liked this fairy. It was so bubbly and had a great fashion sense.

“Nice to meet you. I’m Jackie!” Jackie replied.

“Well Jackie, why do you need me? Do you want me to help you with something?”  Alexa asked.

“Well, I need you to locate where George is… If you can do that, that is,” Jackie said.

Alexa went into deep thought.

“Well, Of course I can! Why do you think I live in your basement or whatever if you don’t need my help?! Alexa screeched.

Alexa flew into her box and flew out with a small globe.

“There you go! I knew I had this somewhere!” Alexa exclaimed proudly.

“What’s that?” Jackie asked, confused

“It’s a Know-A-Globe!” Alexa said, looking at Jackie as if she was unusual.

Jackie nodded her head, still confused.

Alexa sighed.

“It's a globe that can tell you what you want!” Alexa exclaimed.

“Oh! Jackie said, feeling very stupid.

Alexa placed the globe in Jackie’s hand.

“Tell it what you want to know,” she said.

Jackie nodded in reply. She put both hands on the globe and asked her question.

“Can you locate George?” she asked.

The globe fizzed and shimmered in her hands and then it stood still.

Then appeared a picture of George in a…. Jackie didn’t know where he was!

“He’s in Magic Meadow,” Alexa said helpfully.

“Oh,” Jackie said.

“But...where is Magic Meadow?” Jackie asked.

“It's in the Secret Organization for Young Magic Holder’s. S.O.Y.M.H for short,” Alexa said, looking as if she made sense (She didn’t)

Jackie frowned, confused.

Alexa sighed. “It's where kids with magic go to learn to control their powers. The adults there keep the world in order as well as teach the kids,” Alexa said.

“How do I get there?” asked Jackie.

“You will get there when the time is right,” Alexa said, flying back into her box.

Jackie groaned.

“I need to get there now!” Jackie said, growing impatient.

Knowing that she will get no more information from Alexa she ran up to her room to make a plan. She called it ‘Mission Dylan’.

She wrote down a list of all the things she knew about George and where he was. She also knew that she had to find George if she wanted to find Dylan.

Now all she needed to do was figure out how to get S.O.Y.M.H.

Then it hit her. She had magic so she would get into the organisation!

She raced down to find Alexa.

“What do you want now? I was having a nap!” She screeched.

“Take me to the secret organisation thing. Now!” Jackie ordered.

Alexa reluctantly agreed. After arriving at the organisation place Jackie ran inside only to run into a tall, muscley man.

“Who are you?!” He boomed.

“I am Jackie and I have magic and I need to find Dylan!” Jackie blurted.

Jackie saw a flicker of sadness wash past the man’s face.

Chapter 17- Action

“Alright!” Said the man. “ But how do you know that he's here?

“I  just do, alright?!” Jackie snapped.

The man nodded.

“By the way...Who was Dylan kidnapped by?” He asked.

“George…” Jackie replied.

The man stopped walking.

“GO GO GO! Go find George! I have to get the army ready! GO! The man said desperately.

Jackie ran out to where she had seen George through the globe.

And there he was.

“Let go of my brother!!!” Jackie ordered, gathering all her courage.

George jumped, startled.

“And what if I don’t?” George asked, smirking.

“Then you will be banished forever!” The man said, appearing behind Jackie with an army.

George reluctantly agreed.

“Fine!’’ He spat.

He did a small mumbling, what Jackie thought was a spell and out of nowhere appeared Dylan.

Tied to a chair looking pale.

He grinned when he saw Jackie.

Jackie’s eyes filled with tears. She would barely believe it. Her brother was back!

Jackie ran to her brother and they both embraced while the army arrested George for kidnapping and violating multiple rules of the S.O.Y.M.H.

Chapter 18- Home Sweet Home

Their journey home was the best thing in Jackie's life.

Her mother gasped when she saw a young boy at her doorstep.

“D-Dylan? Is that really you!?” She asked.

Dylan nodded and hugged his mother.

Soon, Harold came back home begging for forgiveness. Of course, they forgave him, and Jackie’s mother told them all about their magical family background.

Not wanting to miss out on all of the excitement, Alexa teleported to Jackie, much to the surprise of her mother, who hadn’t seen Alexa since she was a little girl.

That night Jackie fell asleep with a smile on her face.
