Specimen by the Cad Factory in Narrandera

Specimen by the Cad Factory in Narrandera

Join the Cad Factory on Second Beach in Narrandera for a special night of video projections onto the trees and water of the Murrumbidgee River on Saturday March 23 at 7.30pm. Specimen will be presented to small audiences who will gather for intimate, informal conversations to explore their emotional and practical connections to ideas of colonisation, species loss, and place, all set amongst a large-scale projection installation on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.

The artists have been working with objects from the National Museum of Australia's Institute of Anatomy Collection. See these images come to life in the natural environment. Curator Kirsten Wehner will lead conversations around ecology, species loss, place and colonisation; while we contemplate what it means to see specimens in jars projected back onto the landscape where they once lived.

This evening performance is for a small audience and the artists are asking people to book their place for the FREE performance HERE. Projections will commence once the sun goes down.
