Pysanky workshop with artist Lindee Russell

Pysanky workshop with artist Lindee Russell

Are your eggs plain, boring and in dire need of a splash of colour? Well you are in luck - just in time for Easter the Narrandera Arts and Creative Network (NACNet) will be hosting a Pyansky Easter Egg Decorating Workshops with local artist Lindee Russell on Saturday April 13 at the Narrandera Arts Hub.

Learn and explore the art of egg decorating. Pysanky is a traditional Ukrainian decoration technique using a wax resist method similar to Batik to dye and decorate eggs.

What to bring on the day:

  • 6 raw eggs (preferably white)

  • Egg cup

  • Old saucer

  • non-scented solid candle

  • HB pencil and notebook

  • Old, clean towel

No experience required, suitable for all ages. $20 per person (if you have previously attended a Pysanky egg workshop and would like to attend again the cost is $10 NACNet members, $15 non-members)

For more information contact Lindee on 0411 277 368 or nacnet@hotmail.com.
