The Song Company presents Four Colour Season @ GRAG

The Song Company presents Four Colour Season @ GRAG

The traditional four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter have been depicted in art and music for centuries, but the collaboration between The Song Company, Australia's premier acappella group and Indigenous dance group Karul Projects focuses on the Aboriginal interpretation of Australia's diverse and changing seasons.

The unique and moving celebration of the seasons, the sky, and our natural environment features an evergreen selection of song and Indigenous dance choreographed by Wiradjuri choreographer Thomas E.S. Kelly.

Four Colour Season features music from young Australian composers Alice Chance and Patrick Baker, Francis Poulenc’s Un soir de neige and fragments of Antonio Vivaldi’s famous evocation of the seasons.

Follow and trace the course of the Earth’s annual journey in movement and song @ Griffith Regional Art Gallery on Sunday September 23 at 5 PM. Tickets are between $20 - $25 and can be booked HERE.
