Exhibition 'Elsewhere' @ GRAG
The exhibition ‘Elsewhere’ features works created by celebrated Australian artists Wendy Sharpe and Bernard Ollis during their recent travels through Syria, Iran, Egypt, Morocco and Central Asia.
The artists create art in response to humanity. During their extensive journey they created sketchbooks, drawings and painting to record conversations and chance meetings with people from all walks of life. Highlights from their textile and object collections lend a vibrant physical dimension to this diverse and far ranging exhibition that will be held at Griffith Regional Art Gallery from Friday 28 September til Sunday 4 November.
