Grant Writing Workshop - Griffith City Council
Griffith City Council will host a grant writing workshop to help locals prepare winning applications.The How to Apply for Grants Full Day Workshop, facilitated by 'The Grants Guy', Keith Whelan, will be held on Thursday 19 July from 9am until 3pm at the Rural Fire Service 200 Wakaden Street Griffith.
The aim of the workshop is to offer guidance to community groups, organisations, not-for-profit and individuals that need advice on how to write a grant or tender application.
Mr Whelan has consulted with Local, State and Federal Government as well as a number of not for profit organisations, charities, sporting clubs, environmental groups, the university sector and businesses across the country.
This How to Apply for Grants workshop will provide valuable knowledge on a range of Grants related topics including Public and Private Sector Grants – what is out there?, Visioning, Strategy, Methodology Project Planning and Project Rationale, Community Capacity Building and Sustainability, Practical Grant Writing Tips, Budgets and Grant Jargon and Acquittal of Funding and Evaluation.
