Kangaroo Valley Art Prize call for entries
Applications for the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize and Exhibition open on August 15 and close 12 September 2018. Submit for your chance to participate in the long weekend exhibition and be in the running for a prize pool of $7,000.
Exhibtion
Beautiful Kangaroo Valley is the setting for the Kangaroo Valley Art Prize & Exhibition over the four-day September-October long weekend – Friday 28 September through Monday 1 October.
Eligibility
All two-dimensional work including painting in any medium, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art, textile art, collage, mixed media, etc.

- Highly Commended $1000
- People’s Choice $1000
Judges
- Felicity Fenner, international contemporary art curator, former art critic Sydney Morning Herald, frequent judge including the Blake Prize 2012 and Sculpture by the Sea 2014
- Therese Kenyon, prominent Sydney artist, educator and writer, former director Manly Art Gallery & Museum and University of Sydney Art Workshops & Tin Sheds Gallery
Art Sale
All accepted works will be for sale during the Exhibition and through the Arts in the Valley website until the end of October.
Entries
Open 15 August and close 12 September 2018. Submissions by JPEG photo images via the Arts in the Valley website. The Curator, well-known artist, educator and curator, Allan Baptist OAM, will choose approximately 100 to hang, with successful artists immediately notified.
