Griffith Writers Competition closing soon
Entries for the Griffith Riverina Fellowship of Australian Writers Competition close on Thursday 31st May 2018.
The competition was launched to engage local creative writers and poets and encourage them to produce original material. The Griffith Riverina Federation of Australian Writers is a recently established group and is hoping this competition will kick-start new interest from within the MIA to join the group.
Categories include short stories of up to 2000 words and poems, with the sections judged in three groups: Primary years K-6, secondary years 7-12 and open. First prize is $70; second prize is $50; and third prize is $25.
