Lockhart Water Tower Mural Commission

Lockhart Shire Council is seeking an experienced artist to create a large scale mural on the Lockhart Water Tower. The concept is of a waterfall flowing down the Tower, edged by gumtrees and featuring local native fauna and flora. If you are up for the challenge of painting a large a 25 metre high x 21 metre circumference - we want to hear from you!

A committee comprising of representatives of the Lockhart community, Council and an industry expert will be formed to assess the EOI’s and shortlist up to three artists. The shortlisted artists will be paid a design fee of $500 to submit a full proposal to the Committee. The committee will then select an artist to undertake the project.
