Griffith's talented young actors are taking the stage

Griffith’s talented young actors are taking to the stage to MAKE A SCENE in 5 original new plays by local playwright Donatella Parise, at Griffith Regional Theatre on Wednesday 24th October at 7.00pm.

High school students from Griffith Regional Theatre’s Senior Youth Theatre Group have been working with local actor and drama teacher Bonnie Owen since 2017, learning the art of performance, covering a range of theatre styles, group and solo work, script writing, improv and theatre games. By 2018 a core group of dedicated thespians had formed, with the skills and passion to turn their theatre practice into performance.

Four of the new scripts will be performed by the Theatre’s drama troupe, and one script will be performed by Dona Parise’s own acting students.
