Shadow Places - Landscape Artwork Narrandera (CAD Factory)
The CAD Factory in conjunction with local artists are holding a landscape artwork and installation event in Narrandera on the 26th - 29th October. This will be a large-scale artwork featuring projections onto hay bales with sound and accompanying textile installations and is informed by the writings of Val Plumwood and explores our human and non-human histories.
Shadow Places is an outdoor, roaming installation along the Narrandera Traveling Stock Reserve, on Buckingbong Rd, Narrandera. Wander the site at night and encounter the artworks and lighting installations.
Special Discussion Evening
Thursday 26 October, 6pm onwards
This evening is an extended artist talk and open conversation that explores the ideas of 'Shadow Places'. Featuring George Main, Lorraine Tye, Casey Ankers, Julie Montgarrett and more to be announced. The evening includes a special performance by Peter Fraser.
