Applications open to exhibit @ Wagga Wagga Art Gallery
Applications close: Friday 27 October, 4.00pm
Are you an artist in the Riverina region? Would you like to have an exhibition in the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery? Well, this is your chance! Proposals are now being sought from Riverina-based artists and organisations who wish to exhibit in 2018-2019 in the Art Gallery’s two community spaces, the Links Gallery and the E3 art space.
The Links Gallery is an exhibition space dedicated to established artists from Wagga Wagga and the Riverina region, located within the Main Gallery of the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery. Six exhibitions are available between July 2018 and July 2019, for eight weeks each (including installation and packing up). It’s a great opportunity to showcase your practice in the Riverina’s highest profile exhibition venue.
The E3 art space is also run through the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, but as a separate space that you, the artist, will need to mind in person. This exhibition space is designed to offer emerging artists and recent graduates from the Riverina region the opportunity to exhibit and develop their skills in a regional gallery. You can choose to have an exhibition for two weeks or longer, at any time between 5 June 2018 and 31 July 2019.
Application forms and proposal guidelines for both the Links Gallery and the E3 art space are now available and can be downloaded from the Gallery website. All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their proposals with the Gallery’s curatorial team at any stage of the application process.
Completed applications must be submitted by 4:00pm, Friday 27 October 2017. Please email applications and support material to gallery@wagga.nsw.gov.au.
Note: Hard-copy applications will not be considered. All proposals will be considered by a panel of arts industry professionals, and applicants will be advised of the results by Friday 8 December 2017.
