Dead Men Talking @ the Roxy
The Leeton Roxy Theatre is excited to announce that Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson are headed to town to celebrate Henry’s 150th anniversary. This September also marks 100 years since Henry left Leeton!
This lively one-act show finds the two legendary literary figures having a casual drink at the Leviticus Bar & Grill at Heaven's Gate, yarning about their legacies.
Slightly cantankerous, yet grateful of their old friendship, Henry Lawson (performed by Max Cullen) and A. B. ‘Banjo’ Paterson (performed by Warren Fahey) discuss each other’s lives including their famous 'War of Words' in The Bulletin.
They recite poems, sing songs and generally banter – having a good laugh about life’s changing circumstance.
Having first debuted in 2014, this stage show has been taking audiences by storm right across Australia – you’ll love it!
