Fanny Lumsden Tour

Western Riverina Arts supported songwriter Fanny Lumsden to tour the region in 2014, employing her to run a songwriting workshop in Grong Grong. Regional songwriters were given the chance to gain guidance from a professional musician and a number of local performers were able to support Fanny by playing live on stage in front to a large audience. 

Fanny Lumsden & the Thrillseekers were touring our region in July 2014 to play a run of Country Halls through the Riverina. No stranger to the region, Fanny who grew up on a farm between Tallimba and Weethalle has made this unique touring style a bit of a tradition with an annual tour celebrating country halls. 

Fanny sees it as a privilege to play in these halls that have been the centre of the community for so many years and enjoys bringing live music to the bush. Country halls are her favourite venues and she will definitely be back!
